On the 15th July 2018, I performed 3 songs at a charity gig (Half The World Away - Oasis, The A Team - Ed Sheeran and Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) - Green Day) solo at Trades Hall in Workington, Cumbria. Before I went on, 2 other performers had already been on and had their equipment set up so I used their PA system and connected my guitar and a mic to it. However, there was no mic stand so I had to use a table-like thing with the mic just off the edge so I could sing into it. Before I performed, I did a quick soundcheck to make sure that the guitar and the mic were at a good volume and that one didn't sound louder than the other - despite that, the guitar was still louder than the microphone as I couldn't sit very close to the mic.
